Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. This role is perfect for someone who understands the unique flow of real estate transactions and enjoys the precision of maintaining a clean general ledger. You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial health of our property portfolio, ensuring that every entry is accurate and every deadline is met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Bookkeeping: Perform basic accounting entries, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and monthly journal entries.
  • Property Accounting: Manage specialized real estate transactions, including security deposits, move-in/move-out reconciliations, and tenant billing.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations for multiple operating and escrow accounts.
  • Expense Management: Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring costs are coded to the correct property and expense category.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for property owners and stakeholders.
  • Audit Support: Maintain organized digital and physical files to support year-end tax preparation and external audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting (Commercial, Residential, or Development).
  • Software Savvy: Experience with industry-standard software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies in complex ledgers and reconcile them efficiently.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Job description: We are seeking a precise and detail-oriented Legal Documentation Executive to manage the customization and validation of our standardized real estate drafts. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to accurately update key variables—such as party names, property details, and financial amounts—within existing templates, while ensuring the final documents are legally sound and ready for execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft Customization: Utilize company-provided templates (Sale Deeds, Allotment Letters, Bana Khat, etc.) to input specific client names, payment schedules, and transaction amounts.
  • Property Accounting: Conduct a thorough "zero-error" review of every customized draft to ensure all data points align with the sanctioned terms, 7/12 land records, and KYC documents.
  • Revenue & Statutory Coordination: Preparation and processing of documents required for the Revenue Office, ensuring all filings follow local land revenue protocols.
  • Data Integrity: Verify that the "Amount" and "Area" figures match the booking forms and financial records before final printing.
  • Process Coordination: Manage the flow of documents between the sales/accounts departments and the legal team for final signatures.
  • Compliance Check: Ensure that all drafts adhere to the standard clauses approved by the company's legal counsel and local RERA guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: LLB (ongoing or completed) or a Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in legal administrative work.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a real estate firm or a law firm handling property documentation and Revenue Office procedures.
  • Knowledge Base: Must have a functional understanding of RERA compliance, 7/12 records, and Bana Khat drafting.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy; a single error in a name or amount can have significant legal implications.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word and basic Excel for data verification.
  • Language: Proficiency in English and Gujarati (essential for local property registration and revenue documents in Ahmedabad).
